Rules
ChromeRivals provides a safe environment for all types of players, we ensure that these rules are being kept up to date and being strictly monitored for any rule breaking. The rules are divided into different sections. The discord server, The game, and the wiki. The rules are also available in different languages.
Discord server rules in English
1. Do not flame others in public chats. If you need to talk to someone personally then do it in private chat.
2. Keep it ENGLISH in every chat EXCEPT for the ones designated for your language(international category). Your language not there? Ask one of the admins to make a channel for it
3. Refrain from asking questions already answered in general-information or announcements . We understand you want info but please put some effort into searching before you bother staff.
4. Racism/sexism can lead to a mute or a ban. Please respect others regardless of their nationality or world views.
5. Advertising any other servers here is not tolerated! Casually mentioning them is allowed.
6. Do not spam mindlessly. Random tagging will be punished.
7. To use bot commands, use them in the channel bot-cmd and nowhere else. This channel is there to prevent clutter in other channels.
8. Sending pornographic or otherwise Not Safe For Work(NSFW) content is not allowed. Ignoring this rule can be punished with a mute or ban.
9. general is meant for Chrome Rivals or generally Ace related talk. While we understand going offtopic is very easy try to keep other talk in the off_topic channel.
10. The rules can change at any time. A change will be announced but it's best to check whenever you're unsure.
In-game rules in English
1. You may only speak english in Warchat(^), Cross Nation chat(<) and Leader Chat(*) and Trade Chat($). The International Chat(&) is the only dedicated chat for foreign languages. Multiple offenses will result in a chat mute.
2. Only 3 Accounts max on same network are allowed, ignoring of this rule will be tracked and punished. Only 1 account logged PER PLAYER during wars. Ignoring this rule can result in a ban of the buffbot/second account. You are allowed 2 accounts PER PLAYER on grinding.
3. Logging in multiple Gears in order to receive multiple rewards from events or give aways is forbidden and may cost you all of your rewards plus the account(s).
4. Racism/bullying in chat depending on severity may result in a mute, rename or temporary ban.
5. Macros/Buffbots in PvP and Macros in PvE are strictly forbidden and may result in the deletion of your gear/temporary ban. Macros or other methods for autogrinding are not allowed.
6. It is highly advised to follow the instructions of the Staff team at all times.
7. Ignoring the instructions of the Staff team during an event might get you banned till the end of said event.
8. It is forbidden to pretend to be a member of the ChromeRivals Staff team.
9. Manipulating the client will result in a permanent ban on all accounts.
10. Bugs are to be reported to the Staff team. Abusing them might lead up to a permanent ban.
11. It is not allowed to log in a gear of the opposite nation during an event (e.g. attacking the base war core) in order to gain an unfair advantage. 12. Crossfeeding will result in a fame reset and a potential ban of one or both gears.
13. Charging back a donation with the intention of getting "free CRP" will get you banned, so be sure to consult with the ChromeRivals Staff team first. Continued:
14. Account sharing is allowed, but any damage done or caused by account sharing is the player's own responsibility. We will not help you if you lose anything due to the actions of someone else on your account. Any rule breaking on this account, whether it be the original owner or not, will be punished without chance of being unbanned/muted.
15. Scams will be punished with a permanent ban. If you believe you are being scammed, or don't trust a person's offer be sure to take screenshots of the conversation so we can deal with it asap.
16. Any sort of attempt to buy or sell in-game content for real money will be punished with deletion of the item/account, 1 month ban or more.
17. Excessive COH abusing is not allowed. Ignoring this rule can get you a temporary ban.
The punishment for breaking these rules can go from muting up to banning from the discord server, and in some cases, the game server. Doing so is at staff discretion.
All in-game rule breakers are then posted in the discord wall of shame or also known as #strike_list. Depending on the severity of penalties impose, this can range from a mute, down to a ban.
