ChromeRivals features many custom missions where you need to complete several different tasks. They reward the player with essential items required to improve their gear. The missions are often increasing in difficulty as you progress however their rewards increase too. ChromeRivals custom missions are accessible in the mission list under Aerial Strike, War of Pandea, Revolt Ignition and SPECIAL tabs. Every Tier 1 custom mission except the SPECIAL tab missions reward the player with quest tokens of their respective tabs. These tokens are required to complete 25%, 50%, 75% and 100% completion missions of each tab. Also every 50% completion mission gives the player a Tier-2 Quest Key to unlock the Tier-2 missions of their tab that are generally more difficult and offer better rewards. In total there are 119x Aerial Strike Quest Tokens, 116x War of Pandea Quest Tokens and 373x Revolt Ignition Quest Tokens.

To unlock all custom missions, first you need to complete Custom Quest Unlock mission, under Aerial Strike tab. For that mission you are required do have Quest Key in your inventory. This item is only given to first created gear-type characters, in order to prevent players from abusing the quest system.

Aerial Strike

There are 4 main mission categories in Aerial Strike custom missions tab:

  • Monsterhunt: Kill a set number of monsters in different maps. Each mission has increasing difficulty and rewards. They can be completed in formations.
  • Completion Missions Collect a set amount of Quest Token Aerial Strike from Tier-1 missions.
  • Unlock Tier 2 Unlocks the Tier-2 missions.
  • [Tier-2] Missions:
    • Grind Whore Rewarded for leveling up from level 110 to 120. Completed upon accepting if required level is present.
    • X Engines Collect all 4 X-Type Engines.
    • SP Hunt Collect a set number of SP Tokens.
    • MS Hunt Collect a set number of MS Tokens.

War of Pandea

The missions of War of Pandea generally focus on gathering items. This custom missions tab include:

  • Chrome Orb Gather items shown in recipes to upgrade the Chrome Orb. The first mission will give you a Basic Chrome Orb
  • Collection Missions Gather minerals, killmarks, token fragments, Infinity Field orbs etc. to complete those missions.
  • Completion Missions Collect a set amount of Quest Token War of Pandea from Tier-1 missions.
  • Time Pressure (Sidestory) Visit three different maps and kill the required monsters in a limited time. Every mission warps players to Sunshine Born upon accepting. Can be completed in a formation (recommended).
  • Unlock Tier 2 Unlocks the Tier-2 missions.
  • [Tier-2] Missions:
    • Chrome Orb Tier-2 version of the Chrome Orb mission series. Gather items shown in recipes to upgrade the Chrome Orb. The first mission will give you a Tier 2 version of the Basic Chrome Orb.
    • Collection Missions Tier-2 version of the collection missions series. Gather NGC Weapons, WP Capsules, minerals etc. to complete those missions.

Revolt Ignition

Revolt Ignition custom missions consist of:

  • SP Hunt Gather a set amount of SP Tokens to complete those missions. The required items are removed from the player's inventory upon completion.
  • MS Hunt Gather a set amount of MS Tokens to complete those missions. The required items are removed from the player's inventory upon completion.
  • Boss Hunt Gather specific tokens by killing certain bosses for those missions. The required items are removed from the player's inventory upon completion.
    • Phillon Boss Hunt Gather Phillon tokens by killing Phillon Bosses.
    • Pandea Boss Hunt Gather Pandea tokens by killing Pandea Bosses.
    • Revolt Ignition Boss Hunt Gather Revolt Ignition tokens by killing NGC Bosses.
  • All out War Kill a set amount of enemy gears to complete those missions.
  • Golden NPC Hunt down golden monsters in several different maps. Those missions can be done in a formation.
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous missions will require the player to complete different tasks such as killing particular monsters, visiting some maps, etc.
  • Completion Missions Collect a set amount of Quest Token Revolt Ignition from Tier-1 missions.
  • NGC Time Pressure (Sidestory) Kill the required NGC monsters in a limited time. Can be completed in a formation (recommended).
  • Unlock Tier 2 Unlocks the Tier-2 missions.
  • [Tier 2] Missions:
    • Time Pressure Tier-2 version of the Time Pressure mission series. Kill the required monsters in a limited time. Can be completed in a formation (recommended).
    • Pine Oil Heaven Kill the required Pine Oil Heaven monsters in a limited time. Can be completed in a formation (recommended).
